सहारनपुर जिले में कोरोना वैक्सीन नहीं लगवाने पर रामपुर मनिहारान के चकावली गांव को प्रशासन ने सीज कर दिया है। गांव के मुख्य मार्ग पर बैरिकेडिंग करके पुलिस फाॅर्स लगा दी गई है। गाँव के जिस भी निवासी ने अब तक वैक्सीन नहीं लगवाई है उसके गांव से बाहर निकलने पर रोक लगा दी गई है। वैक्सीन का सर्टिफिकेट देखकर ही ग्रामीणों को गांव से बाहर निकलने दिया जा रहा है। उत्तर प्रदेश में यह पहला मामला होगा जब प्रशासन ने वैक्सीनेशन न करवाने पर पूरा गांव ही सीज कर दिया है।

चकावली गांव की आबादी लगभग 8 हजार है। इनमें से 450 लोग ऐसे हैं, जिन्होंने अभी तक वैक्सीन की एक भी डोज नहीं लगवाई है। यानी यह लोग कोरोना के कैरियर बन सकते हैं। बुधवार को SDM संजीव कुमार वैक्सीनेशन की स्थिति जानने के लिए चकवाली गांव पहुंचे थे। यहां मौजूद वैक्सीनेशन टीम ने उन्हें बताया कि गांव में लोग टीकाकरण के प्रति लापरवाह हैं। घर-घर जाकर जागरूक करने के बावजूद गांव के 450 लोगों ने अभी तक वैक्सीन की एक भी डोज नहीं लगवाई है।
