गागलहेड़ी क्षेत्र में पुलिस ने लाखों की स्मैक और नकदी समेत नशे के सौदागर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उसका साथी पुलिस को चकमा देकर फरार होने मे कामयाब रहा।
एसओ संदीप बालियान ने बताया कि सूचना पर पुलिस टीम ने दून हाइवे फ्लाईओवर के नीचे भगवानपुर रोड पर वाहन चेकिंग अभियान चलाया। आरोपित कामिल पुत्र रिजवान सीकरी चिलकाना व आजम बुड्डाखेड़ा जो किसी वाहन की इंतजार में खड़े थे, पुलिस को देख भागने लगे। पुलिस ने घेराबंदी कर कामिल को दबोच लिया। जबकि कामिल का साथी आजम पुलिस को चकमा देकर फरार होने में कामयाब रहा। पकड़े गए कामिल के पास से 100 ग्राम स्मैक 100 ग्राम कट पदार्थ दो पोलोथिन पाउच एक स्मैक तोलने के लिए कांटा, मोबाइल व तीन लाख 10 हजार की नकदी बरामद हुई। एसओ ने बताया कि पकड़ी गई स्मैक की बाजार कीमत लगभग 11 लाख रुपये है। पुलिस ने अभियुक्त को मुकदमा दर्ज कर जेल भेज दिया है। जबकि फरार आजम की तलाश के लिए टीम गठित कर तलाश शुरू जारी है।
