लखनऊ। 2017 के विधानसभा चुनावों में दिए नोटा बटन का मतदाताओं ने जमकर इस्तेमाल किया था। रुहेलखंड के चार जिले बरेली, बदायूं, पीलीभीत, शाहजहांपुर समेत लखीमपुर की कई विधानसभाओं में कुल पड़े वोट का एक फीसदी से अधिक वोट नोटा पर डाले गए थे। कई सीटों पर तो भाजपा, सपा और बसपा के बाद सबसे ज्यादा वोट नोटा पर ही पड़े थे। क्षेत्रीय दल और निर्दलीयों को नोटा के कम वोट मिले। अब 2022 के विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए भी कई सामाजिक सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता नोट का प्रचार कर रहे हैं। ऐसे में कम वोटों से हार जीत वाली सीटों पर नोटा खेल बिगाड़ सकता है।
बरेली मंडल में 25 और लखीमपुर खीरी की आठ विधानसभाओं को मिलाकर 33 विधानसभा सीटों पर मतदान होना है। ऐसे में हार-जीत के गुणा गणित में नोटा के समीकरण को लेकर प्रत्याशियों में भय की स्थिति है। इसके पीछे कारण भी है। 2017 के विधानसभा चुनावों में बरेली मंडल और खीरी की सीटों पर नोटा के वोटों का प्रतिशत 0.60 से लेकर 1.54 प्रतिशत तक था। 16 विधानसभा सीटों पर नोटा चौथे स्थान पर रहा। साफ था कि निर्दलीय और छोटे दलों से ज्यादा वोट नोटा पर ही पड़े थे। 12 विधानसभाओं में नोटा पांचवें स्थान पर रहा। वहीं 3 विधानसभाओं शाहजहांपुर की तिलहर, बरेली की फरीदपुर और बदायूं की दातागंज सीट पर नोटा छठवें स्थान पर आया। ऐसे में निर्दलीय और छोटे दलों से ज्यादा वोट भले ही नोटा पर पड़े हो पर जहां नजदीकी मुकाबला होगा वहां नोटा हार-जीत के अंतर को बदल सकता है।

बदायूं की सहसवान व बदायूं सीट, बरेली की नवाबगंज, भोजीपुरा, मीरगंज, बहेड़ी और बरेली सिटी सीट, पीलीभीत की बरखेड़ा, शाहजहांपुरपुर जिले में शाहाजहांपुर सीट व ददरौल सीट और लखीमपुर जिले की लखीमपुर खीरी, पलिया सीट पर नोटा का विकल्प पांचवे नंबर पर आया।

बदायूं की बिसौली, बिल्सी, शेखूपुर में नोटा चौथे स्थान पर रहा। बरेली में कैंट, आंवला और बिथरी विधानसभा, पीलीभीत में बीसलपुर, पीलीभीत और शाहजहांपुर में जलालाबाद और कटरा में नोटा विकल्प चौथे स्थान पर रहा। वहीं लखीमपुर की श्रीनगर, गोला, निधासन, पुवायं और धौरहरा सीट पर नोटा इतने लोगों ने चुना कि यह चौथे नंबर पर रहा।
