वाराणसी। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने सोमवार को अपने संसदीय क्षेत्र वाराणसी में रोड शो शुरू किया लेकिन इसके पहले उन्होंने मदन मोहन मालवीय की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण किया। इस दौरान लोगों ने फूलों की बारिश करके उनका स्वागत किया। मोदी मंगलवार को वाराणसी लोकसभा सीट से अपना नामांकन पत्र दाखिल करेंगे। लेकिन इसके पहले उन्होंने काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय के मुख्य द्वार पर स्थित महामना मदन मोहन मालवीय की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण किया। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी भगवा कुर्ता और सफेद सदरी पहनकर विशेष और खुले वाहन पर सवार हुए। इस वाहन पर उनके साथ उप्र के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ भी सवार हुए। सोमवार की शाम को मोदी का रोड शो मालवीय चौराहा से संत रविदास गेट होते हुए आगे बढ़ा।
मोदी दोनों हाथ जोड़कर लोगों के अभिवादन का जवाब दे रहे थे। लोगों ने फूलों की बारिश कर उनका स्वागत किया। शो की शुरुआत में ही मातृ शक्तियों के दल के अलावा, बच्चे, बड़े और बूढ़े मोदी की अगवानी करते नजर आए। रोड शो में पांच हजार से ज्यादा महिलाएं मोदी के वाहन के आगे पैदल यात्रा करती दिखीं। भाजपा ने मोदी को वाराणसी संसदीय क्षेत्र से तीसरी बार उम्मीदवार बनाया है, जहां लोकसभा चुनाव के सातवें चरण में एक जून को मतदान होगा। मोदी के स्वागत में संत समाज, किन्नर समाज के लोग भी पहुंचे हैं। जयघोष और शंखनाद के बीच आगे बढ़ते काफिले पर लोग फूलों की बारिश करते दिखे।
रोड शो के रास्ते में एक स्वागत स्थल पर किन्नर संत महामंडलेश्वर कौशल्यानन्द गिरी अपने शिष्यों के साथ प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी का गुलाब की पंखुड़ियों से स्वागत किया और भाजपा सरकार को इस बार 400 पार का आशीर्वाद दिया। गिरी ने कहा कि पिछली किसी भी सरकार ने किन्नर समाज के लिए कुछ नहीं किया था, परंतु मोदी सरकार ने समाज के हर वर्ग की भांति उनके समाज को सभी सुविधाओं का लाभ दिया है। काशी में मोदी ने पिछली बार भी अपने नामांकन से एक दिन पूर्व रोड शो किया था। वाराणसी के स्थानीय लोगों ने दावा किया कि 2014 और 2019 के रोड शो से भी ज्यादा लोग इस बार के रोड शो में उमड़ पड़े। मोदी ने इसके पहले 2014 और 2019 में वाराणसी लोकसभा सीट से चुनाव जीता और अबकी बार यहां से तीसरी बार उम्मीदवार हैं। मोदी ने उप्र में इस बार लोकसभा चुनाव प्रचार अभियान के तहत गाजियाबाद से रोड शो की शुरुआत की थी और उसके बाद कानपुर, बरेली और अयोध्या में भी उन्होंने रोड शो किया।
इन सभी स्थानों पर मोदी वाहन पर सवार होते ही अपने हाथ में भारतीय जनता पार्टी का चुनाव चिह्न कमल लेकर लोगों का अभिवादन करते थे, लेकिन अपने संसदीय क्षेत्र में वह हाथ में कमल लेने की बजाय दोनों हाथ जोड़कर जनता का अभिवादन करते नजर आए। करीब छह किलोमीटर लंबे इस रोड शो के दौरान शहनाई की धुन, शंखनाद, ढोल की थाप और मंत्रोच्चार के बीच पूरी यात्रा काशी की संस्कृति में रची-बसी नजर आयी। मोदी हाथ हिलाकर सबका अभिवादन कर रहे थे। इस दौरान ‘हर घर मोदी-हर हर मोदी’ और ‘अबकी बार-400 पार’ का नारा भी गूंज रहा था। काशी अग्रवाल समाज के लोगों ने मोदी का स्वागत किया। रोड शो मालवीय चौराहा से संत रविदास गेट, अस्सी, शिवाला, सोनारपुरा, जंगमबाड़ी, गोदौलिया होते हुए श्री काशी विश्वनाथ धाम तक जाएगा।
इसके बाद वह विश्वनाथ धाम से मैदागिन चौराहा, कबीरचौरा, लहुराबीर, तेलियाबाग तिराहा, चौकाघाट चौराहा, लकड़ी मंडी, कैंट ओवरब्रिज, लहरतारा चौराहा, मंडुवाडीह चौराहा, ककरमत्ता होते हुए रात्रि विश्राम के लिए बीएलडब्ल्यू गेस्ट हाउस जाएंगे। पदाधिकारियों ने बताया कि रोड शो के मार्ग पर 11 बीट के अन्तर्गत लगभग 100 बिंदु बनाए गये हैं, जिन पर मराठी, गुजराती, बंगाली, माहेश्वरी, मारवाड़ी, तमिल, पंजाबी आदि समाज के लोग अपनी परंपरागत वेशभूषा में मोदी का स्वागत करने के लिए कतारबद्ध खड़े हैं। शहनाई, शंखनाद, डमरू दल के साथ काशी की जनता के साथ ही कई मंत्री, विधायक और वरिष्ठ पदाधिकारी प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का स्वागत करने के लिए कतारबद्ध खड़े हैं। नरेन्द्र मोदी बाबा विश्वनाथ से आशीर्वाद भी लेने जाएंगे। रोड शो के मार्ग पर काशी की विभूतियों के कटआउट भी लगाए गए हैं।
