रंगीली होली पर ठाकुरजी ने जब भक्तों संग होली खेली तो लगा कि संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड इस दिव्य दर्शन के लिए ठहर गया। प्रेमावेश से लवरेज जनसमुद्र मंदिर परिसर में हिलोरे मार रहा था। रंग और गुलाल के उड़ते गुबार, फूलों से हुई होली के रंग में मंदिर परिसर सराबोर हो गया। हजारों भक्त अपने आराध्य ठाकुर बांकेबिहारी को नयनों में भरने की अभिलाषा लिए मंदिर में पहुंचे और दर्शन पाकर कृतार्थ हुए।

सोमवार की सुबह तय समय से लगभग आधे घंटे पूर्व पट खुलते ही बांकेबिहारी मंदिर के बाहर अपने आराध्य के दर्शन की प्रतीक्षा कर रहा जन समुद्र मंदिर परिसर में जयकारे लगाते हुए प्रवेश कर गया। रंगभरनी एकादशी पर मंदिर के सेवायतों ने सबसे पहले रजत सिंहासन पर श्वेत पोशाक धारण कर विराजमान ठाकुर बांकेबिहारीजी पर स्वर्ण पिचकारी से केसर निर्मित रंग डालकर वृंदावन में परंपरागत होली का शुभारंभ किया।
