यूपी में तेंदुए की दहशत, आठ साल क बच्ची पर किया हमला, मौत

बहराइच जिले में कतर्नियाघाट वन्यजीव अभयारण्य के सुजौली क्षेत्र में अपने पिता के साथ खेत में मौजूद आठ साल की बच्ची की तेंदुए के हमले में मौत हो गयी। प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी बी. शिव शंकर ने शनिवार को पत्रकारों को बताया कि अभयारण्य के सुजौली थाना क्षेत्र में रहने वाले अयोध्यापुरवा गांव निवासी इसराइल की बेटी आयशा (8) अपने पिता के साथ खेत में गयी थी। शुक्रवार दोपहर को अचानक जंगल से निकलकर आए एक तेंदुए ने खेत में आयशा पर हमला कर दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि बच्ची की चीख पुकार सुनकर आसपास मौजूद ग्रामीणों ने शोर मचाया तो तेंदुआ जंगल की ओर भाग गया। लेकिन इस दौरान बच्ची की घटनास्थल पर ही मौत हो गयी।

उन्होंने बताया कि घटना की सूचना मिलने पर वन विभाग के अधिकारी वनकर्मियों व विशेष बाघ सुरक्षा बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। घटनास्थल पर बच्ची का क्षत-विक्षत शव बरामद हुआ। पुलिस ने बच्ची के शव का पोस्टमार्टम कराया है। शंकर ने बताया कि मृतक के परिवार को दस हजार रुपये की तात्कालिक सहायता मुहैया करा दी गई है। औपचारिकताएं पूरी करने के बाद सरकार से शेष निर्धारित आर्थिक सहायता मुहैया करायी जाएगी।
