उत्तर प्रदेश विधान परिषद (UP MLC Election 2022) की 36 सीटों पर होने वाले चुनाव के लिए सोमवार का दिन नामांकन आखिरी तारीख था. ऐसे में सपा गठबंधन और बीजेपी के प्रत्याशी अपना पर्चा दाखिल कर रहे थे. लेकिन एटा (Etah) जनपद में उस वक्त हड़कंप मच गया जब सपा एमएलसी प्रत्याशी (SP MLC Candidate) उदयवीर सिंह का पर्चा लेकर एक युवक भाग गया. पुलिस फोर्स के सामने डीएम कार्यालय के गेट पर ही पर्चा लेकर भागने की घटना के बाद नामांकन स्थल पर जमकर बवाल हुआ.

पर्चा छिनने से नाराज सपा समर्थकों ने मौके से एक युवक को पकड़ा और उसकी जमकर पिटाई कर दी. इसके बाद बीजेपी(bjp) कार्यकर्ता भी सामने आ गए और दोनों दलों के बीच मारपीट शुरू हो गई. मौके पर मौजूद सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने किसी तरह हालात संभाला. गौरतलब है कि समाजवादी पार्टी ने 36 में से 34 सीटों पर प्रत्याशी उतारे हैं. दो सीटें अपने सहयोगी राष्ट्रीय लोक दल को दी है.
