उन्होंने कहा कि स्वदेशी रेल सुरक्षा एवं क्षमता प्रौद्योगिकी ‘कवच’ के तहत करीब 2,000 किलोमीटर लंबे रेल नेटवर्क को लाया जाएगा। इसके अलावा अगले तीन वर्षों में ‘वंदे-भारत’ श्रेणी की 400 नई ट्रेनों का भी विनिर्माण किया जाएगा।
