यमुना एक्सप्रेस-वे पर टोल दरें चार साल बाद बढ़ा दी गई हैं। अधिकारियों ने यह जानकारी दी। यमुना विकास प्राधिकरण के मुख्य कार्यपालक अधिकारी डॉ अरुण वीर सिंह ने बताया कि यमुना प्राधिकरण की बुधवार को हुई 74वीं बोर्ड बैठक में यह निर्णय लिया गया कि ग्रेटर नोएडा से आगरा तक 165 किलोमीटर लंबे यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे की टोल दरें बढ़ाई जाएं। उन्होंने बताया कि वर्ष 2018 में दरें बढ़ाई गई थीं, तब से इनमें बढ़ोतरी नहीं की गई थी।
उन्होंने बताया कि अदालत के दिशा निर्देशों के अनुसार एक्सप्रेस-वे पर सुरक्षा को लेकर 22 काम किए जाने थे, इन कामों के पूरा नहीं होने से यमुना प्राधिकरण टोल दरें नहीं बढ़ा रहा था। डॉ सिंह के अनुसार यमुना एक्सप्रेस-वे प्रबंधन ने सुरक्षा उपायों पर काम कर लिया है, इस पर 130 करोड़ रुपए से अधिक खर्च हुआ है और काम होने के बाद यमुना प्राधिकरण ने टोल दरें बढ़ा दी हैं।
यमुना प्राधिकरण के बोर्ड बैठक में टोल दरें बढ़ाने पर मुहर लगा दी गई। ग्रेटर नोएडा से आगरा तक सफर करने वाले कार चालकों को अब 16.50 रुपये अतिरिक्त देने होंगे। बस-ट्रक को 90.75 रुपये और बड़े व्यवसायिक वाहनों को 173.25 रुपये बढ़े हुए टोल के रूप में चुकाने होंगे। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि पहली सितंबर से बढ़ी टोल दरें लागू कर दी जाएंगी।
