बहराइच से एक करोड़ रुपए की स्मैक बरामद, चार लोग गिरफ्तार

उत्तर प्रदेश में विशेष कार्य बल (एसटीएफ) एवं जिला पुलिस के एक संयुक्त दल ने नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी के आरोप में चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है और उनके पास से 350 ग्राम स्मैक बरामद की है, जिसकी कीमत एक करोड़ रुपए से अधिक है। पुलिस अधीक्षक प्रशांत वर्मा ने बताया कि एसटीएफ एवं जिला पुलिस के एक संयुक्त दल ने बृहस्पतिवार को एक खुफिया जानकारी के आधार पर रामगांव थानांतर्गत बहराइच-नेपाल मार्ग पर दो मोटरसाइकिल पर सवार चार लोगों की तलाशी ली और उनके पास से सात पैकेट में रखी 350 ग्राम स्मैक बरामद की, जिसकी अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कीमत एक करोड़ दो लाख रुपए है। उन्होंने बताया कि आरोपियों की पहचान जिब्राइल, मोबिन, सूफियान एवं जुबैर के रूप में की गई है। पुलिस अधीक्षक ने बताया कि आरोपियों के खिलाफ स्वापक औषधि एवं मन: प्रभावी पदार्थ अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है और जांच जारी है।
