यूपी के गाजियाबाद जिले में अपने पति की दिल का दौरा पड़ने से हुई मौत से सदमे में आयी एक नवविवाहिता ने बहुमंजिला इमारत से कथित रूप से कूदकर खुदकुशी कर ली। इंदिरापुरम के सहायक पुलिस आयुक्त स्वतंत्र कुमार सिंह ने मंगलवार को बताया कि अभिषेक (25) नामक युवक सोमवार को अपनी पत्नी अंजलि (23) के साथ दिल्ली स्थित चिड़ियाघर गया था, तभी उसके सीने में अचानक तेज दर्द उठा। सिंह के मुताबिक अभिषेक को सफदरजंग अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया जहां उसकी मौत हो गयी। उनके अनुसार उसका शव रात करीब नौ बजे कौशाम्बी थाना क्षेत्र स्थित वैशाली सेक्टर-3 के अहलकॉन अपार्टमेंट की सातवीं मंजिल पर स्थित उसके घर लाया गया था।
उन्होंने अंजलि की रिश्तेदार बबीता के हवाले से बताया कि अपने पति की मौत से सदमे में आयी अंजलि उसके शव के पास बैठी थी, तभी वह अचानक उठी और अपने घर की बाल्कनी से नीचे कूद गयी। सिंह के मुताबिक अंजलि को गम्भीर हालत में सफदरजंग अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया जहां उपचार के दौरान सोमवार सुबह उसने भी दम तोड़ दिया। अभिषेक और अंजलि की शादी पिछले साल 30 नवम्बर को ही हुई थी। सहायक पुलिस आयुक्त ने बताया कि शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिये ले जाया गया है।
