यूपी के 57 जिलों में साइबर थाने खोले जाएंगे। राज्य मंत्रिमंडल ने मंगलवार को इससे संबंधित प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी। प्रदेश के वित्त मंत्री सुरेश कुमार खन्ना ने मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित राज्य मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक में यह निर्णय लिया गया। उन्होंने संवाददाताओं से कहा, प्रदेश में बढ़ते साइबर अपराधों के मद्देनजर मंत्रिमंडल ने प्रदेश के गाजियाबाद, रायबरेली, सीतापुर, हरदोई, कानपुर देहात, इटावा, बागपत, बाराबंकी, मैनपुरी और रामपुर समेत 57 जिलों में साइबर अपराध थाने खोलने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है।
उन्होंने बताया कि इन थानों की स्थापना पर लगभग एक अरब 27 करोड़ 24 लाख 51 हजार खर्च होने का अनुमान है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह थाने बहुत जल्द खुलने जा रहे हैं और इनसे बढ़ते हुए साइबर अपराध पर अंकुश लगाने में मदद मिलेगी। अभी तक साइबर थाने पुलिस महानिरीक्षक की निगरानी में कार्य करते हैं लेकिन अब यह संबंधित जिला पुलिस अधीक्षकों के अधीन होंगे। आधिकारिक जानकारी के मुताबिक, अभी तक प्रदेश के 18 जिलों में ही साइबर थाने संचालित किये जा रहे हैं।
