प्रदेश में यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड लागू करेगी धामी सरकार, मसौदा तैयार करने वाली समिति के फैसलों को उत्तराखंड मंत्रिमंडल ने दी मंजूरी

देहरादून। उत्तराखंड सरकार ने राज्य के लिए समान नागरिक संहिता का मसौदा तैयार करने वाली विशेषज्ञ समिति द्वारा अब तक लिए गए निर्णयों को मंजूरी दे दी है। मुख्य सचिव एस.एस. संधू ने संवाददाताओं को बताया कि कैबिनेट ने शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की अध्यक्षता में एक बैठक के दौरान मसौदा समिति के फैसलों को मंजूरी दे दी। उच्चतम न्यायालय की सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश रंजना प्रकाश देसाई की अध्यक्षता वाली समिति के जनवरी में राज्य सरकार को मसौदा सौंपने की उम्मीद है, जिसके बाद इसे लागू करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू होगी। समिति का गठन मई 2022 में किया गया था। मंत्रिमंडल ने निर्माणाधीन ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेल लाइन के किनारे 11 टाउनशिप में निर्माण कार्यों पर भी एक साल के लिए रोक लगा दी है। संधू ने कहा, इन टाउनशिप – ऋषिकेश, शिवपुरी, ब्यासी, सिराला, चिलगढ़-मल्ला, मलेथा, श्रीनगर, धारी देवी, तिलानी, घोलतीर और गौचर – का मास्टर प्लान के अनुसार पुनर्विकास किया जाएगा।

कैबिनेट ने अंत्योदय और बीपीएल कार्ड धारकों को प्रति माह आठ रुपये में एक किलोग्राम आयोडीन युक्त नमक उपलब्ध कराने का भी निर्णय लिया। रोडवेज विभाग में सेवा अवधि के दौरान मरने वाले कर्मचारियों के आश्रितों के लिए बने 195 पदों को भी मुक्त करने का निर्णय लिया गया। मंत्रिमंडल ने राजस्व से नियमित पुलिस में स्थानांतरित छह पुलिस थानों और 21 चौकियों के लिए कांस्टेबलों और उप-निरीक्षकों के 327 नए पद भरने का निर्णय लिया है। संघ लोक सेवा आयोग, रक्षा बलों और एनडीए प्रारंभिक परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को दी जाने वाली वित्तीय सहायता को 50,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर एक लाख रुपये करने का भी निर्णय लिया गया।
